Terms and Conditions

Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of gîte accommodations by the night, concluded between the owner (hereinafter referred to as the “Owner”) and the client making a reservation (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”).

Booking

A booking becomes effective upon receipt of a deposit and/or full payment, according to the terms specified in the written confirmation (email or other medium). Any booking implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Capacity

The booking is established for a specific number of guests. If the number of guests exceeds the stated capacity without prior approval from the Owner, the Owner reserves the right to refuse additional guests or cancel the stay without refund.

Rates

Rates are indicated in euros, all taxes included (tourist tax included unless otherwise stated).

  • Prices are calculated per night and per adult.
  • Babies are accommodated free of charge.
  • Pets are allowed under certain conditions, with an additional fee per animal, communicated at the time of booking.

Payment

A deposit of 30% of the total stay amount is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.

The remaining balance must be paid between 15 days prior to arrival and the day of arrival, according to the agreed terms.

  • bank transfer (preferred method),
  • checks,
  • cash,
  • holiday vouchers (paper format and Chèque-Vacances Connect).

Exact payment details are specified in the booking confirmation.

Cancellation by the Client

Any cancellation must be notified in writing (email or letter).

Cancellation terms are as follows:

  • More than 1 month before arrival: free cancellation, full refund of amounts paid.
  • Between 15 days and 1 month before arrival: 50% of the total stay amount remains due.
  • Less than 15 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the total stay amount is due.

These conditions apply regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Cancellation by the Owner

In the event of cancellation by the Owner, all amounts paid will be fully refunded. No additional compensation may be claimed.

Arrival and Departure

  • Check-in: from 5:00 PM
  • Check-out: no later than 11:00 AM

These times may be adjusted by mutual agreement, subject to prior approval.

Beds are made upon arrival and towels are provided.

Use of the Property

The Client agrees to use the property peacefully and to return it in proper condition.
Any damage may be subject to additional charges.

Pets

Pets are allowed subject to prior approval. They must be kept under control and must not cause any disturbance. Any damage caused by a pet will be charged to the Client.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of €500 is required upon arrival.

The deposit may be paid by:

  • check,
  • bank transfer,
  • cash.

The deposit will be returned immediately after the check-out inspection, provided no damage or loss is observed.

In case of damage, the corresponding amount may be deducted in full or in part from the deposit.

Liability

The Owner shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the Client’s personal belongings.

Disputes

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing this, the competent court will be the one in whose jurisdiction the property is located.

Acceptance of Terms

The booking constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
